She did her MBBS from NSCB medical college, Jabalpur and post graduation in ophthalmology from Gandhi Medical college, Bhopal. Thereafter she did fellowship in cataract surgery from internationally renowned LV Prasad Eye institute, Hyderabad. She has also done fellowship in Oculoplasty from the same institute.
She has a vast experience of treating and operating patients with a wide range of eye problems. She has conducted thousands of surgeries of the eyes, especially cataract(with phacoemulsification technique) and cosmetic surgeries involving the eye lids and other external structures of the eye.
Her specialization in Oculoplasty involves surgeries of the drooping eyelids, inversion or extroversion of the eyelid margins, surgery for infection and blockage of tear draining apparatus, surgeries of swelling/tumours of the eye lids, surgeries for repair after trauma/injury to the eye, injection botox for uncontrolled and frequent blinking of the eyes, injection botox for wrinkles over the face and other cosmetic surgeries of the eyes.
